International Conference on Environmental Engineering and Energy (ICEEE 2021) will be held on November 20-21, 2021 in Wuhan, China. It explores the development and implications in the related fields of environmental engineering and energy with an objective to present the novel and fundamental advancements.

 

ICEEE 2021 will serve as an international forum for the presentation and exchange of technological advances and research results in the broad fields of environmental engineering and energy. The conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world. We warmly welcome prospective authors to submit your research papers to ICEEE 2021, and share your latest research results and valuable experiences with other top-scientists, engineers and scholars from all over the world.

Prof. Tao Zhu

Ph.D., Professor, Director of Institute of Atmospheric Environment Management and Pollution Control

China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), China


Bio:

More than 100 papers have been published in domestic and foreign journals, including more than 30 SCI papers (including Environmental Science & Technology, Energy, Journal of Hazardous Materials, etc.) and more than 30 EI papers. In the past five years, 30 new patents have been applied for and more than 10 patents have been authorized for invention, of which 6 patented technologies have been popularized and applied. Published 8 books, including 4 monographs.

He has successively won outstanding talents in the new century in China; outstanding talents in Beijing; Sun Yuezaki Energy Science and Technology Award of the National Science and Technology Development Foundation; Young Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences; 3 provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards (First Completer).

Responsible for and responsible for 4 national vertical projects, 15 ministries and commissions vertical projects, more than 20 enterprises horizontal projects; participated in 4 national major projects, 2 National 863 projects; presided over the completion of 15 projects, design and project management projects. The proposed three-stage integrated plasma treatment technology has been applied to practical treatment projects, and has generated nearly 200 million yuan output value for enterprises in the past three years; PM 2.5 fine particulate matter and heavy metals co-processing technology, an independent intellectual property right, has been selected for many times as the "catalogue of major environmental protection technologies and equipment encouraged by the state"; and with Shanxi International Energy Group in the past three years, they have set up the first demonstration project of ultra-high temperature plasma gasification and melting treatment of hazardous waste in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, China.

Prof. Gangtao Liang

Ph.D., Associate Professor, School of Energy and Power Engineering

Dalian University of Technology, China


Bio:

Prof. Liang received his B.Eng. in 2009 and Ph.D. in 2014 from Dalian University of Technology, where he remained as a faculty member. He undertook his postdoctoral research from 2015 to 2017 at Purdue University Boiling and Two-Phase Flow Laboratory (PU-BTPFL), where he was dedicated to experimental investigation and theoretical modeling of two-phase flow and heat transfer. He was appointed to Associate Professor in advance in 2016 because of his outstanding work in the areas of heat transfer and fluid mechanics.

His primary research interests are two-phase flow and heat transfer, covering droplets impingement, spray cooling, micro-channel flow boiling and condensation, horizontal-tube falling film evaporation, and boiling enhancement. He has published over 80 papers, including more than 50 archival journal papers in Int. J. Heat Mass Transfer, Int. Commun. Heat Mass Transfer, Exp. Therm. Fluid Sci., Acta Mech., Numer. Heat Transfer, and Ind. Eng. Chem. Res. He has been internationally recognized for his great contributions to the droplets impact research and a series of high-quality review papers for two-phase heat transfer topics.

He is currently a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), a member of World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies (WSSET), Advisory Board Member of Heat Transfer Division in Cambridge Scholars Publishing, International Advisory Board Member of Thermal Science Journal, and Editorial Board Member of Fluid Dynamics & Materials Processing. He also serves as an outstanding reviewer for many international journals.
